I am native of Powhatan County, VA, with deep roots in Midlothian (on my dad’s side) and Powhatan (on my mom’s side).  I live in central Powhatan with my amazing wife and high school sweetheart, Pastor Angie Frame.  We have two children, Tristan and Lily, and a block-head yellow lab, Rex.  I am a Hokie (Class of ’03) and a proud NY Yankees fan.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Math and then went on to seminary at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond.

I joined Chesterfield Baptist Church as its pastor in July 2018.  My life in relationship with God and in ministry has been a fun one.  I started out in youth ministry nearly 20 years ago and have served churches in both Chesterfield and Powhatan.  My longest stretch was 11 years as a Campus Pastor with Passion Community Church (formerly Powhatan Community Church).  I left PCC in 2016 to plant a missional-incarnational church in Powhatan called Praxis where I have been since arriving at Chesterfield Baptist.  I have a deep appreciation and passion for the Bible, am fascinated by current events and cultural trends, love getting to know people, and consider it my calling to disciple folks and help them move into loving their neighbor.
