WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you by having you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous,” and that’s fine with us! So come in, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. Below you will find more information about what you can expect on your first visit.

WHERE DO I PARK AND ENTER?

You are welcome to park wherever you'd like and will enter through the doors closest to Hull Street Road. Our Greeters will be there to meet you with a smile.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our attendees come in everything from jeans and sneakers to dresses and slacks – so come in whatever you’re comfortable wearing! We’re just excited for you to join us! We’re confident that you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING WORSHIP

Our style is a modern twist on traditional worship. You'll hear hymns, but we may also have guitars or electric keyboard. We read from the Bible and pray together. If your kids are age 3 through 5th grade, they start in worship with everyone. Children are then invited to the front to hear a special message just for them, After soaking in this animated lesson, the choice is yours – they join their fellow explorers in the Kid Zone for the electrifying “Power Surge” adventure, or return to their seat with you and bask in the warmth of the Sanctuary. Children birth through 3 may go straight to the nursery area after checking-in.

WILL I HAVE TO IDENTIFY MYSELF OR BE CALLED OUT?

We want you to feel welcome at Chesterfield Baptist. But you’ll never be asked to stand up, identify yourself or anything else that might make you feel uncomfortable.

DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER MY CHILD?

Pre-registering your child makes your first visit simpler. You can do so by clicking the button below. Should you forget, no worries, our amazing team will help you when you arrive.
