Facing Our Fears and Finding Truth: Lessons from Jonah
This week at church, Pastor Sammy Frame shared an enlightening message about Jonah, a story many of us have heard but perhaps not fully taken to heart. Jonah’s story of trying to flee from God’s presence serves as a mirror for our own lives, where we sometimes deceive ourselves and run away from hard truths.
Pastor Sammy showed us that God is always with us, even when we feel like we’ve messed up beyond repair. Jonah’s self-delusion is something we can all relate to, thinking we can hide our actions from God. But God’s presence is everywhere, offering love and hope.
We’re encouraged to face these delusions within our community, leaning on the Bible’s wise guidance and keeping an open dialogue with God through prayer.
Join us as we explore these themes further, witnessing God’s work in our lives and learning to live authentically in His truth.
